Our Story
Made new, slowly and intentionally
Made New Candles is a husband-and-wife candle studio based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. We are Allison and Duncan, and we make each candle in-house, from designing and pouring concrete vessels to blending fragrance and hand-pouring wax.
Our name is inspired by 2 Corinthians 5:17 and the hope of renewal. Our mission is to create products that bring light into your space while pointing to the hope that the old has gone and the new is here. That foundation matters to us, but we want the work itself to speak quietly: honest materials, careful process, and objects that feel meaningful.
Why concrete vessels?
We wanted something substantial, minimal, and made by our own hands. Each vessel is poured from molds we design ourselves, then sealed with a VOC-free, vegan, compostable, made-in-USA sealant before it becomes a candle.
